Hudson's One Year Photo Op

Saturday night we volunteered at the American Cancer Society's Hope Gala.  My friend Ellen put on an amazing event and at the end of the night this group of balloons found it's way into the back of my car.  Yay!  I knew they would be perfect for the photo shoot I was already planning.



This is our new favorite crawl.  Hudson will walk 10 to 15 steps and then when he really wants to get somewhere he will drop to his hands and knees feet!  Here comes the tripod waddle.

First Beach Trip

So it was over 3 months ago, but in the spirit of 'better late than never'...

Shane and my dad fished all day, but unfortunately didn't catch anything.



We found a shady spot to hang out in...

Here's Hudson's first fist-full (and then mouth-full) of sand.  Someday Hudson is going to see this and think, 'If you stopped taking pictures, you could probably have prevented me from putting it in my mouth'.  Oh well, you win some, you lose some - and sometimes your child just eats the sand.

Have I fully explained my fear (HATRED) of birds?  That's another story for another day.  But I am about point 2 seconds from freaking out!
