We took a hay ride out to the pumpkin patch.
I call this Shane's Brawny shirt. Do you see the resemblance? It's one of my favorites.
Yes, we had a wardrobe change out in the field. We also gave him a bottle and accidentally fed him a little dirt, as well. We tried to have a bystander take a picture of the three of us, but when I turned to give her our camera Hudson face planted. The woman had 3 boys under the age of 7 with her. She looked at us and said "Don't worry, it's not the last time he'll eat dirt." It took a little while to get him calm, so we used the intermission to put him in his pumpkin sack. During this break, several families came over and picked through my pumpkin wall to see if they wanted to take any home with them. I didn't know what to say, "I'm sorry, these pumpkins are off limits because my son is too young to sit up by himself and I am determined to have pumpkin patch pictures." Somehow I don't believe it was my place to say that, so I'd let them sift and then I'd rebuild the wall once they'd moved on.
Our punkin is sleeping among the pumpkins...
