One, Two, and Three Halloween Costumes

As I mentioned before, Hudson had 3 Halloween costumes.

Costume #1: The Baby Doctor
The first one was bought by my mom on a class field trip before he was born.  My mom is a second grade teacher and every year her class takes a field trip to Babyland General Hospital (where Cabbage Patch Kids are 'born').  Since Shane wears scrubs to work several times a week, my mom thought that it would be cute for Hudson to have a matching pair.  The scrubs were not initially intended as a Halloween costume, it just worked out that they actually fit him now.  Please keep in mind that the scrubs are intended for a Cabbage Patch Kid.  So that makes my son officially the size of a doll.  I don't have a good picture of father and son together in scrubs yet, but I will definitely have one soon- before Hudson outgrows a CPK (no, I don't mean California Pizza Kitchen).  I took Hudson up to my office in scrubs on the Friday before Halloween.  I had thought that this would be when they were celebrating.  No one was in costume, and sadly no one realized that Hudson was in costume.  I had to explain several times that I do not dress my 2 month old in scrubs on a regular basis.

Costume #2: The Pumpkin
We have already seen the cute little jack-o-lantern that he wore to the pumpkin patch, but here's a refresher...

Costume #3: An Auburn Tiger
Although technically he is an Auburn tiger every day, he was actually dressed up like one on Halloween.  My mom found this outfit at a yard sale and thought that it would be a great way to keep warm this winter.  Really, is there ever a bad time to dress up  like a tiger?  We certainly didn't think that the 6 month outfit would fit our 2 and a half month old.  But I decided to try it and it was perfect.  Of course to be an 'Auburn' tiger he had to have an Auburn onesie underneath, the Auburn pacifier, Auburn pacifier clip, and the Auburn rattle.  What do you think of the end result?
(I'm really getting tired of the 'Warning' message being in all of my pictures!  Ok, Baby Trends I will not put the rear facing car seat in the front seat of the car!)

This is Christian and Rhianna, my friend from work's children.  On Monday we went back up to the office for 'trick or treating'.  Candy apples were Hudson's favorite (well, maybe next year).
Waiting for trick-or-treaters... Our doorbell rang exactly ONE time.

Hey, can't you read the rattle?  He was "born to be a tiger," what can I say?
