Santa’s Little Helper

This was actually one of the more intense ‘photo shoot’s’ that I’ve put together.  I hung a blanket from the top of our cabinets in the kitchen and moved the kitchen island against the countertops.  This way Hudson would be on the table top and Shane and I wouldn’t be on the ground.  Of course this is one that required 2 sets of adult hands.  So, I set everything up and then waited “patiently” for Shane to get home.  The idea was to get an adorable picture of Hudson for our Christmas card.  Well since the card has already gone out, I’ll share the runners up.
It all started with an idea I had seen on Pinterest (of course).  I wanted a baby sandwich picture with Hudson in a Santa hat.  It didn’t really work very well, but even the bad ones turned out cute.

Here’s the winner.  It’s not perfect, but I love it.  He is so adorable.

Shane kept wanting to dress Hudson as an elf, so I picked up an elf hat and a Santa hat at the Dollar Tree.  These are both adult sized hats, so they are tied with a rubber band in the back.

And after a quick intermission and wardrobe change…

Here’s our Christmas card.  The top picture is from Thanksgiving and the others you will recognize from above.
I hope you are all enjoying the Season!  Merry Christmas!
